growAG. Platform Refresh Update
We’ve been working behind the scenes to bring you a better growAG. experience—and it’s almost here!
Since 2021, growAG. has helped connect the dots across Australia’s agrifood tech ecosystem. From startups and researchers to producers and investors, we’ve built a space where innovation meets opportunity. Now, we’re refreshing the platform to make it even easier to find funding, explore technology, and connect with the people driving change.
Here’s what’s coming and what to expect during the transition.
Platform services & key dates
To make the transition to the new platform as smooth as possible, we will be temporarily pausing the following services:
| Service | Close Date | Re Open Date |
| User Portal | 08/10/2025 | 22/10/2025 |
| New Listings | 08/10/2025 | 22/10/2025 |
| Enquiry Submissions | 08/10/2025 | 22/10/2025 |
Current portal members will need to re-enrol to their account on Wednesday, 22 October 2025. Instructions will be provided via email and through the new resource hub.
Current website contributors will also receive an email about the changes the platform as well as an update from their account manager.
We will reach out to our remaining users and stakeholders regarding the platform update and schedule pauses to our services via email and resources on the website.
What's new?
We’ve spent a lot of time with contributors and key stakeholders over the last year to understand how the platform can better the ecosystem.
We’ve listened to your feedback and added features to make the platform more intuitive, useful, and tailored to your needs:
New pages for key journeys
Helping new users quickly find funding, innovation or technology was some of the key feedback we received. To address this, we’ve created specific pages that show users' key areas of interest:
- Funding & Grants – helping those looking for grants, funding and accelerator opportunities
- Partners & Commercialisation – helping those looking for research, trial, joint venture, market access and strategic partner opportunities
- Investment – helping those looking to explore startups and scaleups who are capital raising

There are also new pages to help users from different industries navigate the platform.

Dedicated research section
As research organisations play a central role in driving agrifood tech, we’re introducing a dedicated section of the site to showcase research projects. This section will provide an overview of the research ecosystem by highlighting the various research organisations that make up the space.
‘Explore RDC’s’ a section of the growᴬᴳ platform, which was recently launched, will also be refreshed. It will feature an overview of the Research and Development Corporation (RDC) system along with individual pages dedicated to each RDC. These pages will be updated to include any current opportunities, research projects or stories relating to the corporation. There will be more content to come over the next 12 months including overviews of other related government organisations, universities and Cooperative Research Centres (CRCs).
Enhanced content
We’ve heard from our users and stakeholders that our content can be helpful, although it can be hard to find and there’s always an ask for more.
With the new site we will have improved navigation, improved search and hubs to discover content, resources and links to key bodies. There will also be an enhanced focused on content and stories that highlight the innovators and organisations that contribute to the ecosystem.

What's next?
We love being part of the Australian agrifood tech ecosystem and playing a small part in helping to drive world leading innovation.
We’re excited to launch, listen, and keep improving. We’ve got some exciting new features in the pipeline including a new way for our contributors and partners to manage and see the performance of their listings:
For now, we’re turning our focus to evokeAG. 2026 - and we look forward to catching up with many of you in Melbourne for the event.
Thanks for being part of the growAG. community.
Updated user portal
The biggest area for change on the platform is the user portal, and this has been informed by two key themes from discussions:
- Our users want more functionality and more insights
- Our contributors and partners want us to focus on valuable connections
For our refreshed platform this means:
Signing in to submit enquiries and listings
From Wednesday, 22 October 2025 users will be required to sign up or sign in to submit new enquires or listings to the platform. This means that we can provide a better experience for our contributors and users on the platform.
An updated user portal
The user portal will also have an improved ability to save your data and relevant resources. For existing users, most of your saved preferences will appear in the new platform.

While you are now required to login to access some of growAG.'s features, there is no change to our platform remaining completely free to use, and this includes tailored support from our concierge service.
